We pay close attention to how our diamonds are sourced, crafted and delivered — mindful of the people and places behind every stone.
YF Diamonds Corp. is a second-generation diamond dealer based in New York City. We supply natural and lab grown diamonds to jewelers and retailers across the United States and internationally. With that privilege comes responsibility — to our clients, our suppliers, our community, and the world.
Our approach to sourcing, governance and business conduct is outlined in the policies below.
Our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Policy sets out our commitments to conducting business with integrity and respect for people and the planet.
At YF Diamonds, a second-generation company built on trust, quality and long-term partnerships, we believe that the same attention to quality that defines the diamonds we source and the jewellery we help create also defines the way we conduct our business.
Integrity, transparency and respect for people and the planet are fundamental to earning and maintaining the confidence of our customers, employees and business partners, and to supporting the long-term success of our business.
This ESG Policy establishes the framework through which YF Diamonds manages environmental, social and governance matters across its internal operations and business activities. As a Member of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), YF Diamonds is committed to operating in accordance with the RJC Code of Practices and RJC Laboratory Grown Material Standard.
This Policy applies to all YF Diamonds personnel, including its management, employees and individuals acting on behalf of the Company.
YF Diamonds operates as a trader of diamonds and coordinates the production of custom jewellery through independent manufacturing partners; it does not carry out manufacturing itself. This Policy sets out the commitments that apply to YF Diamonds' own operations and business activities — that is, the matters within our direct operational control.
How we identify, assess and manage risks in our supply chains is addressed separately in our Responsible Supply Chain Policy, which should be read alongside this Policy.
YF Diamonds manages the environmental aspects of its business activities in a responsible and proportionate manner. Our most relevant environmental aspects arise from how we run our offices: the resources we consume, the goods and services we procure, and the travel and shipping we arrange.
We seek to use energy, natural resources, and other materials efficiently, reduce waste and favour reuse and recycling where practicable, continually looking for opportunities to improve our environmental performance.
YF Diamonds is committed to respecting internationally recognized human rights in accordance with the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.
We seek to identify, prevent and mitigate adverse human rights impacts, and encourage the reporting and appropriate resolution of human rights concerns. We strictly prohibit all forms of forced labor, bonded labor, human trafficking, and child labor.
YF Diamonds is committed to a workplace built on fairness, respect, equal opportunity, diversity, and inclusion. We prohibit discrimination, harassment, bullying, and retaliation of any kind, and ensure every individual is treated with dignity in a safe, professional environment.
Employment decisions are based solely on legitimate business needs, qualifications, experience, performance, and merit. We comply with applicable labor and employment laws, including respecting employees' rights to freedom of association and collective bargaining.
YF Diamonds is committed to conducting its business with integrity, transparency and accountability. We comply with applicable laws and regulations, maintain accurate business records, conduct business with legitimate counterparties only, and support efforts to prevent money laundering, terrorism financing and other forms of financial crime.
We prohibit bribery, corruption, and facilitation payments. Charitable and philanthropic donations are made only to legitimate recipients. YF Diamonds does not make political contributions.
YF Diamonds is committed to ensuring that every product we buy, sell or help create is represented accurately and transparently. Laboratory-grown materials are clearly disclosed where applicable, and records are maintained to support product descriptions and transactions.
We comply with relevant legal and industry disclosure requirements and are committed to respecting third-party intellectual property rights.
YF Diamonds encourages employees, business partners and other stakeholders to raise concerns relating to potential violations of applicable laws or commitments. Concerns may be raised anonymously and will be treated with confidentiality.

YF Diamonds prohibits retaliation against any individual who raises a concern in good faith.
Our Responsible Supply Chain Policy sets out the standards we hold ourselves and our suppliers to, and our approach to due diligence across the supply chain.
At YF Diamonds, we recognize that responsible business practices are essential to the integrity of the jewelry and diamonds we source, trade and help create. This Policy sets out our commitments to respect human rights, avoid contributing to conflict and comply with all relevant UN sanctions, resolutions and laws, and our approach to identifying, assessing and managing risk in our diamond supply chain and business relationships.
As a Member of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), YF Diamonds is committed to operating in accordance with the RJC Code of Practices and RJC Laboratory Grown Material Standard. This Policy incorporates the requirements of the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS).
This Policy applies to YF Diamonds' sourcing of precious metals (gold, silver, PGM), to our natural and lab-grown diamond supply chain, and to our business relationships with suppliers, customers, service providers and other relevant counterparties.
We expect our suppliers and business partners to uphold the commitments set out in this Policy within their own operations and supply chains.
YF Diamonds believes that responsible supply chains are built on long-term relationships founded on trust, transparency and mutual accountability. We make this Policy publicly available and communicate it directly to our suppliers, incorporate it into our supplier contracts and agreements, and we work collaboratively with business partners to identify, prevent and address risks.
We are committed to respecting internationally recognized human rights, informed by the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs).
We will not tolerate, profit from, contribute to, assist or facilitate: any forms of torture or cruel treatment; forced or compulsory labor; the worst forms of child labor; other gross human rights violations; or war crimes, crimes against humanity or genocide.
Where we find a reasonable risk that a supplier is committing, or is sourcing from or linked to a party committing, any of these abuses, we will immediately suspend or discontinue the relationship.
We will not tolerate direct or indirect support to non-state armed groups, including groups that illegally control mine sites, transport routes or trading points, or that tax or extort money, minerals, or diamonds along the supply chain.
YF Diamonds sources and sells polished diamonds only. We require every diamond we purchase to be accompanied by a System of Warranties (SoW) statement confirming it was sourced in compliance with the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme and is not linked to conflict. We retain these supplier warranty invoices as part of our due diligence records and include the same warranty statement on our own invoices to business customers.
We maintain a defined, credible and transparent testing protocol to identify undisclosed laboratory-grown, treated, or composite material before any diamond is offered for sale to our business customers. Any laboratory-grown diamond sold will be clearly and accurately disclosed as such at the point of sale.
We maintain strict product security and segregation procedures throughout our operations, ensuring natural and laboratory-grown diamonds are never mixed, mislabelled, or substituted for one another at any stage, from intake through to sale.
We will not offer, promise, give or demand bribes, and will resist their solicitation, to conceal or disguise the origin of precious metals or diamonds, or to evade or misrepresent taxes, fees or royalties paid to governments.
We are committed to complying with applicable anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing and sanctions laws, and to supporting efforts to eliminate money laundering connected to the extraction, trade, handling, transport or export of diamonds.
Our due diligence management system is founded on the principles of risk-based decision-making, good faith, proportionality, continual improvement, and accountability. We make reasonable efforts to identify, assess, prevent, mitigate and, where appropriate, respond to risks of adverse impacts associated with our sourcing and trading activities, in alignment with the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas.
Where risk is identified, we devise and implement a risk management plan, pursue mitigation within a reasonable timeframe, generally six months, and monitor the effectiveness of mitigation measures. Where mitigation fails, or where the risk relates to serious abuses or conflict financing, we will suspend or discontinue the relationship.
